Abul Hasan Al-Asyari's final and settled creed (Taken from 'Al-Ibanah')

Imam Al-Asyari, after abandoning the Mutazilite creed, embraced the creed of Ibn Kullab, which with the passage of time came to be known as 'Aqidah Asyariyyah', the creed spread among vast majority of Sunnis today and falsely attributed to him.
Allah guided him just before he passed away, making him return to the salafi creed of Imam Ahmad Ibn Hanbal and the other pious predecessors. Unfortunately, his 'return' to the correct creed is not known to many Muslims who call themselves 'Sunnis' and 'Asyaris'.
